North West is known not only for her music but also as a record producer. She signed with the independent label Gamma earlier in 2023, led by former Apple executive Larry Jackson. This solo concert comes about a month after the cancellation of her planned 14-date headlining tour with rapper Molly Santana. North has previously performed alongside Ye, including appearances at his comeback shows.
