AceShowbiz - Savannah Guthrie isn’t interested in wearing cozy sweaters this fall season. In fact, she’s embracing dark leather—but with an unintentional design. While guest co-hosting Today with Jenna Bush Hager on Oct. 23, the anchor had a wardrobe malfunction with her pleather leggings.

“Hold on, hot mama,” co-host Jenna Bush Hager, 43, told Savannah Guthrie, who paired her bottoms with an all-black blazer and chunky heels, at the start of the episode. “You are looking very hot.” However, before Savannah Guthrie could share details about her outfit, she immediately brought attention to the hole in her pants.

Savannah Guthrie said, “Look, I have a big hole in my Spanx,” lifting her leg to show the small slit. “Hole in my Spanx pleather.” While Savannah Guthrie—who shares kids Vale, 11, and Charles, 8, with husband Michael Feldman—didn’t share how the malfunction occurred, she playfully shrugged it off and admitted that she “had to” point it out.

Savannah Guthrie kept that same lighthearted energy backstage, when she joked that she’ll wear the pants to Bon Jovi’s upcoming tour. “Oh for sure, leath-ah, weath-ah!” she teased in a video posted on Today’s Radio Show, before correcting herself on the leggings’ fabric. “Actually, it’s pleath-ah, pleath-ah weath-ah. They’re Spanx, literally, Spanx.”

This isn’t the first time Savannah Guthrie has addressed a personal error on the NBC morning show. In fact, the journalist recently showed remorse for her 2012 interview with Khloe Kardashian, where she asked the Good American founder about the then-rumors surrounding the identity of her biological dad. Khloe Kardashian confirmed that she doesn’t view that interaction in a negative light, saying “It takes a big person to take accountability” and “I just love her!”
