AceShowbiz - Rachel Zegler, the 23-year-old actress known for her portrayal in "Snow White," has turned to social media with a heartfelt plea for help regarding her ailing dog, Lenny. The star shared an emotional update on Instagram, detailing the challenges her dog is facing and her difficulties in finding a solution.

"He has crazy diarrhea and a loss of appetite and nothing has been helping," Zegler revealed in her Instagram Story. Despite two trips to the vet and a special diet of chicken and rice, Lenny has refused to eat.

Zegler is now trying an appetite stimulant and an anti-diarrhetic in hopes of settling Lenny's tummy.

The actress expressed her deep concern, noting that apart from his digestive issues, Lenny remains energetic and playful. "We are drinking water and otherwise seemingly good," she added.

However, the stress of the situation is compounded by her upcoming travel plans. "This comes 48 hours before we need to fly across the ocean. Anything would help."

Zegler's desperation is understandable, as she lamented the unhelpful advice she's received from veterinarians. "I am going to pull my hair out," she confessed.

In a follow-up post, she thanked her followers for their supportive messages and announced that they were heading to the ER for further tests, including a gastrointestinal ultrasound and bloodwork.

After the ER visit, the diagnosis came in: Lenny has colitis, an inflammation of the colon. The vets administered fluids and medications via a catheter, which offered some relief.

Zegler expressed her gratitude to everyone who has shown love and support for her "small wonderful boy." Despite the discomfort, Lenny remains in high spirits, tail-wagging and alert, even if he's still not eating solid food.

This challenging period follows the celebration of Lenny's second birthday last month, where Zegler shared touching sentiments about her pup. "Happy 2nd birthday my sweet Lenny. Life is better with you in it," she captioned their photos together.
