The 'Iron Man 2' actor is contemplating legal action against the producers of 'Celebrity Big Brothers UK' after he was sent packing following a series of controversial behaviors.

AceShowbiz - Mickey Rourke, known for his rebellious persona, is reportedly considering legal action against "Celebrity Big Brother UK" after his dramatic departure from the show. The dispute revolves around unpaid fees and the producers' handling of Rourke, which was described as both unprofessional and intentionally humiliating.

Rourke's representative, Kimberly Hines, told Us Weekly, "Big Brother is now refusing to pay Mickey his full agreed-upon fee. His legal team is currently pursuing the matter."

The spokeswoman added, "To use his name and image in this way, after a long and accomplished career, is an insult to a true cinematic icon. It disregards his legacy and crosses the line of basic respect - both within the industry and on a personal level."

Hines asserted that the producers were completely aware of Rourke's well-documented "Hollywood rebel image."

She explained, "They knew his presence would be explosive, controversial, and attention-grabbing - and that's exactly what they got, and more. They even promoted his provocative personality, which had already been well-documented in the press, and has become even more evident since the show aired."

According to TMZ, ITV was only willing to pay up to $300 per night for his hotel accommodation after his removal from the show while Rourke had booked rooms amounting to approximately $50,000. The network was accused of using Rourke for boost their viewers, only to discard him "with barely a ride to the airport."

Rourke's tenure on "Celebrity Big Brother UK" came to an abrupt end on April 12 after incidents of inappropriate language and offensive behavior. Following a formal warning over an insensitive remark to JoJo Siwa, Rourke was involved in a subsequent altercation with Chris Hughes from "Love Island UK".

Reflecting on his actions, Rourke voiced his regret during his exit episode on April 13, saying, "I stepped over the line. I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. I lost my temper, and I've been trying to work on it my whole life. And I wish I would have had better self-control. I'm very sorry. I'm ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there."

Rourke's controversy, however, was not limited on screen as his former co-star Bella Thorne accused him of misconducts on the set of their 2020 movie "Girl". She wrote on Instagram, "He's supposed to take a metal grinder to my knee cap and instead he used it on my genitals thru my jeans. Hitting them over and over again."

Rourke hasn't responded to the allegations, but his rep vehemently refuted the claims.
