Lights, cameras, and a hint of intrigue! Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively's recent appearance at a London photocall for 'Another Simple Favor' has tongues wagging, especially after their SXSW awkward snub.

AceShowbiz - Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively put a united front amid feud rumors at a new promotional event for their movie "Another Simple Favor". The duo was all smiles as they were arm-in-arm at the Corinthia London hotel, putting to rest - or perhaps fuelling - rumors about their relationship.

Kendrick, 39, flaunted a bright red vest paired with a matching skirt and sparkly gold pumps, while Lively, 37, chose a black cardigan with gold trim, a black skirt, tights, and knee-high boots. Both actresses styled their hair in loose waves, with Lively adding a preppy touch.

The actresses' seemingly friendly exchange at the London Eye, complete with smiles and lighthearted chats, came just a month after Kendrick had awkwardly dodged questions about reuniting with Lively at the SXSW premiere.

When asked about working with Lively again, Kendrick had flashed an awkward smile and replied, "Oh, you know …" before walking away. Lively, on the other hand, had nothing but glowing remarks, calling the reunion "the best" and saying she was "so happy."

Adding more fuel to the fire, Kendrick and Lively not only posed differently with the crew at SXSW but also sat apart from each other during the screening. The backdrop to this tension might very well be Lively's contentious legal battle with her "It Ends With Us" co-star and director Justin Baldoni.

In December 2024, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and smear campaign, allegations he denied. Subsequently, in January, Baldoni filed a $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist Leslie Sloane. This high-stakes legal drama is scheduled for trial in March 2026.

While Kendrick did not publicly side with either party, her actions and words at the 2025 BAFTA Awards raised eyebrows. Without naming Baldoni, she heaped praise on directors, "We all have huge respect for directors. It's one of the most exhilarating and exhausting jobs in the world."

Despite the underlying tension, the promotional event in London seemed to suggest a thaw in their relationship. Whether this camaraderie will hold amidst the swirling rumors and impending trial remains to be seen.] Stay tuned for more on this gripping Hollywood saga!
