After her record-breaking debut as the first black woman to join 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', Garcelle Beauvais is ready to move on from the franchise for new opportunities.

She made the heartfelt announcement on her Instagram, much to the surprise of her fans and co-stars. At 58, Beauvais is ready to devote more time to her family and exciting new projects.

In her poignant video message, Beauvais shared, "It's been a wild ride." Highlighting both the highs and lows of her journey on RHOBH, she reflected on her decision to depart the show.

A significant factor in her choice was her desire to be more present for her sons, particularly as her youngest is about to graduate from high school. "One of the reasons why I'm leaving is my family, my boys," she explained. "Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that."

Beauvais' departure did not go unnoticed, garnering an outpouring of support from her "RHOBH" co-stars and the broader Bravo community.

Beauvais made history as the first Black woman to join the "RHOBH" cast when she debuted in Season 10. As she turns the page, she hinted at exciting new opportunities ahead. Though she couldn't share specific details about her upcoming projects, she mentioned she's venturing into producing and acting roles.
