Kai, the youngest of Schreiber's children with ex-partner Naomi Watts, made waves in a long-sleeve animal-print minidress with a feathered neckline, white lace tights, and floral-detailed pumps.
The 57-year-old actor quickly came to his daughter's defense when critics labeled her a "nepo baby," suggesting her success is solely due to her famous parents.
Speaking to TMZ, Schreiber dismissed these accusations, stating, "I'm going to put it to you like this: What if you were a professional actor, and your child decided they wanted to do something in this world? Do they have a choice of what you did?"
He emphasized respect for Kai's career choices regardless of his fame, adding, "That's her life. She does what she wants with her life, and I'm super proud of her. I thought she did an amazing job in the show."
Following Kai's runway debut, the proud father didn't hesitate to share his joy on Instagram, posting a photo of Kai on the catwalk with the caption, "Ladies and gentlemen the one, the only, the indomitable @kaischreiberr!"
His enthusiasm for his daughter's achievements was echoed by Kai's stepmom, Taylor Neisen, who joined Kai in Paris and shared her own support on social media.
Naomi Watts, who shares daughter Kai and son Sasha, 17, with Schreiber, also took to Instagram to express her pride. "That's my @maisonvalentino baby! I'm squealing with pride. Ilysm @kaischreiberrr," she wrote, celebrating her daughter's milestone.
Watts, now married to actor Billy Crudup, continues to co-parent amicably with Schreiber, who married Taylor Neisen in 2023, with whom he has a daughter, Hazel Bee.
