Ahead of the album, the former Disney darling is giving away 12 personal items over 12 days. It began with a particularly poignant piece: a custom Jacquie Aiche diamond "B" ring.
This ring, which Gomez showed off on Instagram when she publicly confirmed her relationship with Blanco in December 2023, is encrusted with .44 carats of pavé diamonds and carries a value of $3,250.
Yet, Gomez decided to offer it to one lucky fan for just $12 on her website. Explaining her choice, Gomez stated, "For the first day of #12DaysOfReallyRareStuff, which is also a countdown to I Said I Love You First, it felt fitting to choose something that is a symbol of the start of our relationship."
"Since my new album with Benny, I Said I Love You First, is about our past, present, and future, I thought it would be fun to give away some 'rare memories' I've kept over the years every day until our album comes out."
Gomez shared on Instagram, adding, "You've stuck with me for so long, and with this album, we wanted to do something special so stay tuned for updates."
In place of the "B" ring, Gomez is now rocking a huge diamond ring from Blanco. The music producer meticulously designed her engagement ring to fit her dream ring. According to him, the actress always yearned for having a marquise diamond, something she first hinted at in her 2015 song "Good for You."
Blanco remarked, "I just tried not to f**k up," illustrating the pressure he felt to fulfill Gomez's vision. The result was a beautiful engagement ring featuring an oversized marquise diamond set in a cathedral setting with a brilliant-cut eternity band.
The "12 Days of Really Rare Stuff" campaign promises more exciting giveaways. On the second day, Gomez offered a signed Coach Selena Grace Bag, a coveted collectible she designed.
