AceShowbiz - Over the weekend, Harry Styles added marathon running to his impressive resume by participating in the 2025 Tokyo Marathon. Among more than 37,000 runners, Styles finished the grueling 26.2-mile race with a net time of 3:24:07.
According to the marathon's online records, the former One Direction member placed a commendable 6,010th, maintaining an average pace of 7:47 per mile.
Fans and onlookers captured various moments of Styles as he ran through the streets of Tokyo. Sporting an all-black ensemble, accented with neon sneakers and a white bandana, he responded to the adoring cheers with smiles and peace signs, embodying his signature charm even amidst rigorous physical demand.
The Tokyo Marathon saw Ethiopian runners Tadese Takele and Sutume Asefa Kebede secure first-place positions in the men's and women's categories, respectively. Takele finished with an impressive time of 2:03:23 while Kebede crossed the finish line at 2:16:31.
Comparatively, Styles' marathon time stands out in the celebrity world. For instance, Colin Farrell completed the 2021 Brisbane Marathon in 3:53:14 and the 2024 Dublin Marathon in 4:06:45. Jennifer Connelly managed the New York City Marathon at 3:45:47 and Ashton Kutcher finished the 2022 NYC Marathon in 3:54:01.
Styles' marathon run comes at a time when fans are eagerly awaiting new music. His last album, "Harry's House," released in 2022, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and won album of the year at the 2023 Grammys.
Despite his recent low public profile, interrupted only by appearances at a few award shows and brief social media activity, including a heartfelt tribute to his late friend and bandmate Liam Payne, Styles continues to captivate public attention.
Besides music, he graced the silver screen with roles in "Don't Worry Darling" and "My Policeman."
With speculations about a new musical project looming, fans are left wondering what Styles will conquer next. For now, the Tokyo Marathon is a testament to his versatility and stamina, proving once again why he remains an adored figure worldwide.
