Drake reveals his desire to move past 'rap beef' after his archenemy Kendrick Lamar delivered multiple jabs at him during the recent Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.

AceShowbiz - If anyone needs a hug right about now, it's Drizzy. Following his rival Kendrick Lamar's merciless jabs at the Super Bowl halftime show, the rapper makes it clear that he is done with beef.
His new song "Gimme a Hug", in particular, seems to encapsulate Drake's new mindset - moving past rap feuds and focusing on creating party anthems for his fans.
"Drake elimination, fake intimidation / Take a minute, take a deep breath, have a little bit of patience," the Canadian artist raps. "They be dropping s*** but we dropping harder s***, f*** all the rap beef, I'm trying to get the party lit."
"Gimme a Hug" is among new materials in Drake and PartyNextDoor's highly-anticipated joint album, "$ome $exy $ongs 4 U", which dropped on February 14. It marks Drake's first full-length album since his rivalry with Kendrick Lamar.
Drake is currently in Australia as part of his world tour. Meanwhile, his archenemy K. Dot recently rocked the stage at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans during the halftime show. He performed his Grammy-winning diss track "Not Like Us" that targeted Drake, poked fun at the lawsuit launched by Drizzy, and brought out the OVO mogul's exes SZA and Serena Williams.
