AceShowbiz - Kanye West, 47, has revealed the inspiration behind the title of his upcoming album "Bully" during a recent interview with Justin Laboy. Kanye explained that his 9-year-old son Saint, whom he shared with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, sparked the idea.
"My son Saint was playing with some kid, and he kicked him," the rapper recalled. "I asked him why he did that, and he said, 'because he weak.' That's when I realized this man is really a bully."
"He just kick everybody and, like, push 'em over," Kanye admitted, to which the host wondered "which parent" Saint got his attitude. "Definitely young Ye," the host quipped.
Kanye's upcoming album, scheduled for release on his daughter North West's birthday, is his first solo effort in over three years. It marks the latest chapter in his creative journey.
Kim Kardashian, 44, has been open about her co-parenting experience with ex-husband Kanye. "Make sure you are your co-parent's biggest cheerleader, no matter what you're personally going through," she told Vogue in February 2022.
Despite their split, West maintains a close bond with his children. In September, he held a listening party for his album "Vultures 2" in China, where he brought out his children to perform his song "Everybody."
In a magazine interview North, 11, found her father as one of her biggest inspirations when it came to fashion. "I like streetwear and '90s. Tyler, the Creator; my dad; me!" she said.
However, Kanye's nomadic lifestyle with new wife Bianca Censori may have hindered his co-parenting with his ex-wife. He has been living outside the States especially Japan while working on his new project while Kim resides in California with their kids.
In a more recent interview, Kim admitted she sometimes felt "alone" in raising her children because her ex-husband was overseas.
