'Summer House' star Paige DeSorbo reveals her decision to freeze her eggs just weeks after announcing her separation from longtime boyfriend, 'Southern Charm' member Craig Conover.

AceShowbiz - Following her breakup with longtime boyfriend Craig Conover, Paige DeSorbo has made a life-changing decision to preserve her fertility. The "Summer House" star revealed on her "Giggly Squad" podcast that she is taking steps to freeze her eggs - a decision that she has been contemplating for some time.
DeSorbo, now 32, shared that while freezing her eggs is a "huge" decision, it was one she "always knew" she wanted to make. Reflecting on her decision, she explained, "I have wanted to do it... I would probably say like last year - probably in the spring - I was like, 'OK, in 2025 I'm freezing my eggs.' "
Her decision coincides with a break in her hectic schedule. DeSorbo specified, "I had like a list of things I wanted to get done in the month of January. So that was like one of my goals and I made my first appointment."
However, she made it clear that the exact timing for undergoing the procedure is still under consideration due to logistical challenges. "The only thing is I have to pick two weeks that I'm gonna be home because I have to do the shots at the same time every night and I think they have to be in the refrigerator," she elaborated.
She is looking to begin the egg retrieval process around the "beginning of March" following the conclusion of her "Giggly Squad" tour.
"When I first decided to freeze my eggs it wasn't like, 'Oh my god [it's for] my career,' like I genuinely thought at 32 I would have a kid," she revealed, adding, "But always in the back of my head I was like, 'What if I get to 39 or 40 and I'm like wait I want one more.' So that was always my thought process on freezing my eggs."
But with her relationship status now changed, the context of her decision has shifted. "So now it's different," she acknowledged. "I need it as like security I think but it is making me relax a little bit though knowing that I'm doing it."
DeSorbo's breakup with Conover was publicly announced in December 2024, after nearly three years of dating since meeting on the set of "Summer House" in 2019. Conover also took similar steps in family planning months prior to their breakup.
Following their split, DeSorbo was romantically linked to "Saturday Night Live" comedian Marcello Hernandez and sports agent Joe D'Amelio while Conover has joined dating app and unfollowed her on social media.
