AceShowbiz - The Kardashian-Jenner family, including Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, were forced to evacuate their luxurious homes in Hidden Hills and Calabasas due to relentless wildfires.
The Kenneth Fire, a fast-moving inferno that erupted near the Los Angeles-Ventura County border, has burnt through 1,000 acres of land, putting these highly desirable neighborhoods at significant risk.
The devastating fires have led to multiple evacuations, with ten confirmed deaths so far. State officials fear the actual number of casualties could be higher, with specially trained dogs now scouring the charred remains to search for human remains.
Senator Adam Schiff issued a stark warning on Thursday, stating, "If you stay, you're going to die. If you get an evacuation order, get the hell out."
Amid the evacuation chaos, authorities confirmed that the Kenneth Fire was caused by an alleged arsonist, now in police custody. The urgency led to frantic efforts to evacuate residents from Calabasas and Hidden Hills. However, as of Friday, January 10, evacuation orders were lifted as the Kenneth Fire became 35 percent contained.
Despite fleeing their homes, the Kardashians did not forget their community. Khloe Kardashian took to Instagram to share their family's efforts in providing meals to firefighters. They partnered with Carousel Restaurant, an Armenian-Lebanese eatery, to deliver hundreds of meals to fire stations throughout Los Angeles.
"Our family and I wanted to feed a few fire houses today and we couldn't think of a better restaurant to reach out to other than @carouselrestaurant," wrote Khloe.
Khloe's sister, Kim Kardashian, also shared updates on the fires and appealed to the public for support. Unfortunately, Kim faced criticism for promoting a SKIMS sale during the crisis, leading to backlash from social media followers.
In another tragic twist, Kim's close friend and hairstylist, Jen Atkin, announced that her home had been destroyed by the blaze. Atkin, heartbroken but resolute, shared her experience on Instagram, "We're going to be ok. We always push through."
Paris Hilton, another celebrity affected by the fires, returned to her Malibu beach house to find it reduced to rubble. Despite her heartbreak, she expressed gratitude that her loved ones were safe and emphasized the importance of cherishing family and memories.
As wildfires continue to ravage California, the Kardashian-Jenner family's experience serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of community support and the resilience needed in the face of natural disasters.
