However, sources close to Moore have clarified that there was no malicious intent behind her actions. Moore was unaware of Jenner's presence and had simply gone over to speak to Fanning, who she had not seen in some time. "Demi did not know Kylie," a source revealed. "They have different values and had not crossed paths before."

Moore's daughter, Tallulah Willis, also defended her mother, stating that there was no snub of any kind. She explained that if Jenner had approached to congratulate Moore, she would have given her the time and space.

"There was no snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments," she wrote.

Tallulah further clarified that connecting with Fanning was a natural interaction as they had spent New Year together.
