AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake was under public scrutiny after his arrest on June 18 for driving while intoxicated (DWI). He allegedly drove through a stop sign and failed to stay on the right side of the road. The arresting officer reported that he had bloodshot eyes, a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
The NSYNC singer pleaded guilty of driving while ability impaired and was ordered to pay a fine of around $300–$500, perform community service and appear in a public service announcement about the dangers of drunk driving. Later on, he publicly issued an apology and admitted to making a "mistake."
