She explained that the speculation may have stemmed from a social media post by Gia in which she shared pictures of herself with her boyfriend Christian Carmichael, and another with her mother from a trip to Las Vegas. The caption of the post read, "These are the photos I'm gonna show my kids one day."

Teresa clarified that she had not directly discussed the rumors with Gia, but she believed her daughter wouldn't take them seriously. She added that people often take things out of context on social media.

Teresa also addressed Gia's relationship with Christian, confirming that they are not yet engaged or expecting a baby. However, Gia has considered moving in with Christian within the next year to experience living together.

Gia has also expressed her desire to eventually marry Christian, as seen in a TikTok video she posted of them practicing a dance move, which she captioned, "Practicing for our wedding." However, she has clarified that they are not currently engaged.
