The Recording Academy has announced updated Grammy nominations, which includes additional nominations for Charli XCX, Post Malone as well as Sufjan Stevens.

AceShowbiz - The Recording Academy has released the latest batch of adjustments to the 2025 Grammy nominee list, granting Charli XCX and Post Malone additional Best Recording Package nominations for their respective albums, "Brat" and "F-1 Trillion". Both albums were previously included in the category, but neither artist was initially credited as an art director.

Charli XCX's total nominations now stand at eight, including nods for Record of the Year ("360") and Album of the Year ("Brat"). Post Malone's updated count is seven, including nominations for Best Country Album ("F-1 Trillion") and Song of the Year (Taylor Swift's "Fortnight").

In addition, Sufjan Stevens has received his first Grammy nomination for his work on John Legend's "Always Come Back," in the Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals category. This marks Stevens' second-ever Grammy nod.

The updates strengthen the position of Charli XCX and Post Malone in the race for the most nominations. They now trail only Beyonce Knowles, who leads with 11 nominations.

The Recording Academy also noted a trend of recording artists playing a more active role in the art direction of their albums. In the past 34 years, nine artists have won Grammys for art direction in the Best Recording Package category, including notable figures such as Suzanne Vega, Joni Mitchell and Michael Carney.

The 2025 Grammy Awards will take place on February 1 at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena.
