AceShowbiz - An Argentinian waiter made a bombshell confession regarding Liam Payne. Braian Paiz, who is connected to the investigation into Liam's death, admitted to using cocaine and drinking whiskey with the singer two days before he died from a fatal fall from his hotel balcony.
In a new interview with TMZ, Braian recalled the events for the news outlet's upcoming documentary "TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame?". Denying he's a drug dealer, the 24-year-old said, "They say I'm the dealer, that I carried drugs, that I sold them. And the truth is that no, no, I didn't sell them."
Braian insisted that he did not accept any money or gifts from Payne, including a Rolex he was offered. "I didn't accept anything, just a drawing that he drew which was part of my eyes, nose and mouth," he revealed in the documentary.
According to Braian, he met Liam at the restaurant where he worked. He claimed that they bonded over their love of drawing, saying, "He draws. I draw. I'm studying to do it so I had drawings."
Braian said that the two partied together for two nights in a row before Liam's death. Braian claimed that he saw drugs scattered "everywhere" in the singer's hotel room, including the Dove soap box and tin foil seen in photographs after Liam's death.
Braian was among the three suspects who have been investigated by Argentinian authorities in connection to the former One Direction star's death on October 16. In addition to the waiter, another person was accused of selling drugs to the singer. The third man, meanwhile, was allegedly with the singer "on a daily basis" during his stay in Buenos Aires. According to the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 14, the charges involve "abandonment of a person followed by death" and "supply and facilitation of narcotics."
Liam passed away at the age of 31 after he fell from his room on the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was laid to rest at Mary's Church in Amersham, England, a short distance from Liam's hometown, on November 20.
"TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame?" is set to air on Monday night, December 30 at 8 P.M. ET on FOX.
