The whirlwind saga of country star Morgan Wallen's rooftop chair-throwing incident has finally come to an end with a two-year probation sentence and a stint in a DUI education center.

AceShowbiz - Morgan Wallen entered a guilty plea to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment related to an April 7 incident at Eric Church's six-story honky-tonk bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
Originally facing three Class E felony charges of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct for allegedly tossing a chair off the bar's roof, he managed to have his charges reduced without a deadly weapon.
During Wallen's court appearance on December 12, he accepted a conditional guilty plea in front of Judge Cynthia Chappell. Originally facing up to 11 months and 29 days in jail and a $2,500 fine for each charges, he was eventually sentenced to seven days to be served in a DUI education center. He will also undergo supervised probation for two years.
Following the judge's ruling, Wallen was quickly ushered out of the courtroom with his attorney, making no immediate comments.
In a written statement post-proceeding, Wallen's attorney Worrick Robinson said, "Upon the successful completion of his probation, the charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement," assuring fans and the public of Wallen's intention to turn over a new leaf. The plea deal also entails Wallen paying a $350 fine along with court fees.
The chair-throwing incident unfolded just before 11 p.m. when a chair thrown from Chief's roof narrowly missed Nashville Metro Police officers standing below. Swift witness statements and security footage from the bar confirmed Wallen's involvement, leading to his immediate arrest. Wallen was released after posting a $15,250 bond the next morning.
Shortly after his release, Wallen publicly took responsibility on social media. In a heartfelt message, he stated, "I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I've touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief's. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility." His humility and remorse aimed at restoring his image among fans and the community.
It's not his first time in trouble for his antics. In 2021, Wallen faced controversy after a video surfaced of him using a racial slur. He drew widespread criticism and led to his music being pulled from radio stations. In 2020, he was arrested on public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges after being kicked out of Kid Rock's bar.
Despite his legal troubles, Wallen continues to focus on his music career and foundation work. His acceptance of the plea and commitment to adhering to probation conditions indicate a willingness to rectify his past actions and make positive contributions moving forward.
In recognition of his musical talents, Wallen was honored as Entertainer of the Year at the 58th Annual CMA Awards in November, a testament to his ongoing influence in the country music scene.
