AceShowbiz - Jay-Z's alleged son reportedly wants to team up with Tony Buzbee. A new report claims that Rymir Satterthwaite hopes to have the lawyer, who is currently locked in a legal battle with the rap mogul, represent him in a new lawsuit against the musician as he continues to fight for his paternity battle.
Media Take Out claims that Rymir, who has been claiming that Jay-Z impregnated her late mom when she was only 16, wanted to have Tony as his lawyer and prove that the husband of Beyonce Knowles is his biological father. It is, however, unknown if Rymir has officially reached out to Tony.
The report arrives after Rymir blasted Hov for his response to the allegations, which said that the rap mogul raped a 13-year-old girl back in 2000, in a statement published on Wednesday, December 11. "It is both heartbreaking and frustrating to see Mr. Carter respond to the allegations with such deflection and attacks," Rymir said. "My late mother, Wanda, was just 16 years old when she became pregnant with me, and for years I have sought clarity about my identity."
He also insisted in his statement, "This is not about greed or spectacle - it's about uncovering the truth and ensuring all parties are held accountable."
Rymir additionally slammed Hov over his statement which read, "I mourn yet another loss of innocence," saying that he should stop refusing to acknowledge his paternity if he "values the ideals of honor and protecting children." Rymir continued, "Despite my efforts, Mr. Carter has never once written a letter to me to address these claims - whether to deny or acknowledge paternity, or to address why his attorney's committed this fraud. …. He continues to deflect and avoid."
Rymir's mom Wanda claimed that she and Jay-Z had sex in 1992. She was 16, while the rapper was 22 at the time. In 2010, Rymir's mom asked a Pennsylvania court to make Jay-Z and Robert Graves, his mom's high school boyfriend during the time, take paternity test to determine who is her son's real father but Jay-Z's legal team allegedly subverted the legal system to avoid the test.
The case was eventually dismissed in 2012 because Rymir was over 18 years old at the time of the pre-trial. According to Pennsylvania state law, a paternity test must be taken before a child reaches the age of adulthood.
