AceShowbiz - Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton, 22, alerted authorities to a burglary at NFL star Joe Burrow's $7.5 million Anderson Township home on Monday night, December 9. The incident occurred while Burrow, 28, and his team, the Cincinnati Bengals, were playing against the Dallas Cowboys in Texas.
Upon arriving at the residence, Ponton noticed a "shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked." She immediately called her mother, who contacted the police. According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Ponton reported being "employed" by Burrow and provided a non-detailed list of items that appeared to be missing from the property.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the incident and reviewing surveillance footage from neighboring properties. Authorities have not confirmed whether anything was stolen yet. Meanwhile, the relationship between Burrow and Ponton remains unclear, although it has been speculated that they are dating.
This burglary is part of a recent trend of break-ins targeting NFL players' homes during games. Last month, the residences of Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were burglarized within days of each other. The NFL subsequently issued a memo warning players and teams of the potential for such incidents.
