AceShowbiz - Madonna appeared to have reunited with Akeem Morris after rumors about their split. The "Material Girl" hitmaker, who reportedly had called it quits with Akeem, recently stepped out with the former soccer star.

On Saturday, December 7, the 66-year-old Queen of Pop was out and about in New York City. In a series of pictures that made their rounds online, it could be seen that she was joined by the 28-year-old former athlete.

Madonna was photographed walking on the side of a street with Akeem next to her. While one of the snaps saw them keeping their hands to themselves, another captured him apparently placing one of his hands on her back.

During the relaxing stroll around the Big Apple, Madonna and Akeem did not appear to be in good spirits. She kept her head low as she showed a stern facial expression. At that time, the two were accompanied by her security guard.

For the outing, Madonna kept her body warm in a long-sleeved black jacket that came with a zipper. She also rocked a pair of long black leggings, which she wore underneath a matching mini skirt, and matching high boots.

The "Vogue" hitmaker, who was carrying a small handbag, seemingly tried to keep it low-key, covering her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses and putting on a scarf over her head. Her long blonde hair was let loose and parted in the middle.

As for Akeem, he went with a white hoodie, a pair of long matching pants, which featured a wide-leg design, as well as a black-and-orange bomber jacket. In addition, he sported a pair of white shoes and a matching hat, which covered part of his long black braided hair.

The new sighting came after Madonna and Akeem reportedly split in late October. On the reason why, a source told Daily Mail, "Madonna ran into the same issue with this boytoy as she has with all of her recent men. The age difference became an issue. They come from different time periods. Madonna felt Akeem had a wandering eye because he did."

The insider went on to explain, "When the globe-trotting stopped, the excitement stopped as well. Ultimately it had run it's course and there are no hard feelings or drama. It was just time for them to go their separate ways."
