AceShowbiz - Hercy Miller, the son of legendary rapper Master P, had a run-in with the law. According to a new report, the 24-year-old was arrested alongside two other students for allegedly stealing refrigerators from the campus of Southern Utah University.
Hercy, Brock Felder (20) and Peter Dadson Jr. (25) were booked on one count of theft on November 27 and were taken to the Iron County Jail, per ABC affiliate KTVX-TC. According to arrest documents, they stole two refrigerators, worth $1,500 each, from the loading dock of the Cedar City Utah school's campus bookstore.
The trio, who all play on the SUU Thunderbirds basketball team, was captured in security footage loading the appliances into their vehicles on November 11. One of the two refrigerators was found inside the apartment of two of the men, while the other was inside the garage of the third.
In their defense, Hercy and Peter told the authorities that they thought the appliances "believed they were being thrown away and that it was OK to take them" because they had been on the loading dock for "almost a month." The three basketball players were eventually released on November 28.
Following the arrest, the trio returned to the basketball court as they played and won against Park University Gilbert on Tuesday, December 3. Speaking to TMZ Sports on the same day, Head coach Rob Jeter claimed that the incident was a misunderstanding. He further explained, "The university is working to get this resolved quickly."
Meanwhile, social media users couldn't help but troll the students. "REFRIGERATORS???? Excuse me?" an Instagram user wrote in a comment underneath The Neighborhood Talk's post regarding the matter. A second added, "Rich kids really do the stupidest things bc wtf are you stealing refrigerators for?!"
Meanwhile, a third said, "The level of embarrassment his dad probably feeling right now.. Smfh." Similarly, a fourth commented, "These children will embarrass you."
