AceShowbiz - Brooks Nader has broken her silence on her sister's claim about her using Ozempic. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model admitted to taking the Type II Diabetes drug, which is widely consumed for weight loss.
On Tuesday, December 3, the 27-year-old model opened up about taking the medication when she made an appearance at the Bio.Me launch event. Speaking to Us Weekly, she confessed, "I took, like, a little bit when it first came out, and everyone was doing it."
Brooks went on to share, "It made me really nauseous. I liked it, I am not going to lie, and when I went on 'Dancing with the Stars', I could not do both." She revealed that she "lost a little bit of the motivation and the strength to work out" when she took the drug, saying, "It was one or the other, and I picked dancing. I put the shot away."
During the chat, Brooks also shared her thoughts on her sisters, "Those little brats. I was like, 'Are you enjoying this?' I can't get away with anything around them. ... They run around the house and they just rat me out on everything. If you want anything ask them, they will tell you all my secrets."
Brooks further spilled, "I lost a lot of weight, like, especially towards the end. I lost, like, 10 or 15 pounds. I kind of loved it, but also I would be like, 'I wasn't toned.' It's a thing and then I got really, really toned because ... it's, like, subconscious; you're dancing six hours a day and then, when you finally get a moment to look in the mirror, you're like, 'Oh, wait a minute, OK. This is paying off in more ways than one, so I loved that aspect.' "
The revelation came after Brooks' video with her sisters went viral. In the TikTok clip, one of her sisters claimed that the former "DWTS" contestant used the popular drug to lose weight during the "Suspect Challenge".
