On the latest episode of 'Behind the Table,' Alyssa Farah Griffin candidly shares her emotional IVF journey, shedding light on the challenges and hopes of conceiving.

AceShowbiz - "The View" co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin has openly discussed her ongoing experience with in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. Together with her husband, Justin Griffin, Alyssa has been striving to conceive their first child for over a year and a half. In an effort to support and inspire others facing similar challenges, she chose to speak about the process for the first time on the "Behind the Table" podcast.

"My husband and I have been hoping, trying to get pregnant for about a year-and-a-half," Alyssa shared. The 35-year-old political strategist explained that the couple made the decision to try IVF because it "wasn't happening naturally," highlighting her surprise at how difficult and emotionally taxing the journey has been.

Reflecting on her first IVF cycle, Alyssa admitted she felt "cocky" because she was feeling "great" and able to meet the demands of her high-profile career, even giving herself injections at midnight while working late during the elections for CNN. However, her optimism waned during the second cycle, leaving her feeling tired, emotional, and generally uncomfortable.

"I had no idea at my age how hard this actually would be," she confessed. "I'm only 35, and to me, I was like, 'I've got plenty of time, this won't be that difficult, I'm healthy, I work out, I eat right,' and my body was just not cooperating with it."

Acknowledging the difficulties, Alyssa emphasized the importance of being present during the process and the power of science to offer hope. "You just have to kind of be present in the process as you're in it," she said. "There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I don't know when it will be for us, but it's also incredible what science can do."

Expressing her gratitude, Alyssa gave a special shoutout to her "View" co-hosts, particularly Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin, for their unwavering support. Haines has been "beyond supportive and helpful," while Hostin, who conceived her two children through IVF after five miscarriages, has shared her invaluable insights.

In sharing her story, Alyssa hopes to inspire other women facing fertility challenges to stay hopeful and check their fertility sooner rather than later. She also encourages patience within partnerships during this sensitive journey.

Alyssa and Justin have been married since 2021 and are determined to keep working towards becoming parents. Despite the emotional and physical rollercoaster of IVF, Alyssa's message remains clear: there is always hope, and they are not alone in this journey.
