Reflecting on their swift transition from Washington, D.C. to New York City when Alyssa joined "The View" in July 2022, she expressed gratitude for their time spent in the city and excitement for what's to come. "2+ years later we're headed to our forever home in the NYC suburbs. Thanks for the memories, Upper East Side! " she wrote.

The move coincided with an exceptionally hectic day, as Alyssa juggled interviewing President Joe Biden on "The View "and managing the logistics of relocating. "We had our movers there until 8:30 last night, so literally my day was morning, rush here, get here early, interview the president of the United States, you know get all the feedback that we were while physically moving into my new house," she shared during a conversation with "The View" executive producer, Brian Teta, on their official podcast, "Behind the Table".

Amidst the chaos, Justin Griffin played a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition. Alyssa praised her husband for shouldering 99 percent of the moving responsibilities, acknowledging his support in managing everything during her demanding schedule. She mused on the importance of having a supportive partner, adding, "He also helped me organize my closet."

The couple's new home already has their dog enjoying the suburban life, "zooming in the lawn," according to Alyssa. Reflecting on the move, she expressed her anticipation, saying, "I'm so excited" for their new chapter. She also shared how Justin's thoughtfulness extended to skipping a work trip to keep her company during their second night in their new house.

Having tied the knot in Vero Beach, Fla., on November 6, 2021, after a year-long engagement, Alyssa and Justin have remained each other's strongest supporters. For Justin's birthday in August 2023, Alyssa paid tribute with a loving Instagram post celebrating their bond and shared adventures.
