AceShowbiz - Jamie Foxx is set to break his silence on his health crisis and its rumored link to Sean "P. Diddy" Combs in his upcoming Netflix comedy special, "What Had Happened Was..."
Foxx, 56, has been teasing the special on social media, expressing excitement about sharing his story "in my own way." He recently returned to the stand-up stage in Atlanta, where he thanked fans for their support and shared intimate details about his 18-year absence.
According to attendees of the Atlanta shows, Foxx discussed his health crisis and addressed rumors linking it to Combs. Choke No Joke, a producer-director, claimed that Foxx identified himself as "the one who called the FBI on" Combs, who has been facing legal trouble related to sex trafficking allegations.
Foxx also reportedly distanced Combs from his health issues, saying, "People keep asking me if Diddy was responsible. He was not responsible. If he was, I would've been dead."
In addition to his health crisis, Foxx will also reflect on his life experiences, including his journey as an actor, comedian, and musician. The special promises to be a candid and emotional account of his ups and downs, focusing on second chances and the importance of laughter.
"What Had Happened Was..." will premiere on Netflix on December 10. Foxx's other upcoming projects on Netflix include his film "Back in Action" with Cameron Diaz, which is scheduled for release in January 2025.
