Condolences have poured in after 'So You Think You Can Dance' alum Brooklyn Larsen and her husband, Tanner Larsen, announced that they had tragically lost their newborn son.

Brooklyn, who is 29, went into labor on Sunday, November 24, at 40 weeks and 2 days. However, upon arriving at the hospital, they received the devastating news that the baby's heartbeat could not be found.
The couple expressed their disbelief and confusion, as every prenatal checkup had indicated a healthy pregnancy. "In an instant, our best day became our worst," they wrote.
On Monday morning at 11:23am, Brooklyn gave birth to their son, who weighed 8 lbs 10 oz. They described him as "strong, beautiful, and a perfect mix of Tanner and Rome."
Brooklyn and Tanner were able to spend 12 precious hours with their baby before saying goodbye. They thanked their family for surrounding them with love and support during this difficult time.
Love and support have since poured in for Brooklyn and Tanner's loss. Fellow "So You Think You Can Dance" alums, including Witney Carson, Lindsay Arnold, and Jenna Johnson, offered their condolences on Instagram.
Brooklyn and Tanner previously announced their pregnancy in August. They also shared that Brooklyn suffered a miscarriage in December 2023. The couple married in September 2023. Brooklyn is also a mother to son Rome, 3, from a previous relationship.
