Known for her viral appearance on 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' when she was a kid, 21-year-old Sophia Grace Brownlee reacts to critics saying she's too young to become a mother.

AceShowbiz - Sophia Grace Brownlee, famous for her childhood performance with cousin Rosie McClelland on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," has been openly defending her decision to embrace motherhood at a young age. Now 21 and expecting her second child, Brownlee has had her fair share of online trolls who argue she's too young to have children. But she's not letting the criticism get to her.

In a recent Instagram post, Brownlee clapped back at the negativity by sharing a short clip that featured her holding her one-year-old son, River. Written over the photo was a comment from a troll reading, "19 & 21 is way too young to have kids!! You should have waited until you are 30+."

In response, she played an audio clip of "Dance Mom" star Abby Lee Miller saying, “When my mother was 17, she paid the mortgage on her parents' house.” Brownlee then mouthing Kelly Hyland's response, "I don't really give a s**t what your mother did,” making it clear she's unfazed by the unsolicited advice.

Brownlee, who became a mom at 19 through an emergency C-section, described the experience as surreal. "I heard [my baby] cry and then I cried because I couldn't believe that I had my own baby," she told People. The feeling of holding her newborn, River, for the first time was described as “mad” and “just like [she] imagined.”

In August 2023, Brownlee announced her second pregnancy via Instagram, revealing that she is expecting a baby girl. She and her partner, whose identity remains private, have been together since she was 16. Brownlee explains his absence from her public life by stating, “He's a bit camera-shy and some people don't wanna be on camera all the time.”

Despite the unsolicited advice about waiting to have children until her 30s, Brownlee feels confident and content with her decision. She wrote, “And yet we're still in the best position and happier then [sic] people older then [sic] us,” reinforcing her belief that age is just a number when it comes to parenting.

Sophia Grace and her cousin Rosie McClelland became an online sensation in 2011 when they sang a version of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" in princess outfits. The duo's viral performance opened doors to international fame, including regular segments on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Since her early days of fame, Brownlee has continued to share her life journey with her followers, emphasizing that happiness and readiness for motherhood are subjective. As she prepares for the arrival of her second child, Brownlee remains resolute in her choices, encouraging others to follow their own paths despite societal expectations.
