While the contemporary RnB musician simply praises K.Dot's sixth studio album, the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' hitmaker laughs off the reference on one of the songs.

AceShowbiz - Kendrick Lamar has received positive online responses to his newly-released album. After K.Dot launched "GNX", fellow artists, including Snoop Dogg and Chris Brown, shared their reactions to the "Not Like Us" hitmaker's surprise record.

On Friday, November 22, Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., made use of his social media page to praise K.Dot's latest set. The 53-year-old hip-hop artist penned, "K dot new album GNX," adding a slew of flame and microphone emojis.

Not stopping there, Snoop also responded to being name-dropped by K.Dot on one of the songs in the album. He went on to write, "It was the edibles," before adding a laughing face emoji. He further gushed, "west west king."

Aside from Snoop, Chris Brown had a positive reaction to K.Dot's "GNX". Taking to Instagram Stories, the 35-year-old contemporary R&B musician simply penned, "KDOT ALBUM [a series of flame emojis]."

The compliments came shortly after K.Dot launched his sixth studio album "GNX", which consists of 12 songs, through PGLang and Interscope Records. One of the tracks is titled "Wacced Out Murals", which he wrote with Deyra Barrera.

On the song, Kendrick namedrops many artists, including Snoop. Kendrick raps, "Snoop posted 'Taylor Made', I prayed it was the edibles/ I couldn't believe it, it was only right for me to let it go." He apparently shows how he reacted upon learning that Snoop reposted Drake's diss track against him, "Taylor Made Freestyle", when he was feuding with the Canadian star.

"Taylor Made Freestyle" featured AI-generated verses from Snoop and late artist Tupac Shakur. The feature led to Tupac's family sending Drake a cease-and-desist. A few days after the song was released through social media, the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker removed it.

On "Wacced Out Murals", K.Dot also namedrops Lil Wayne and discusses drama over the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show. He spits, "Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down/ Whatever, though, call me crazy, everybody questionable/ Turn me to an eskimo, I drew the line and decimals."
