AceShowbiz - Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are engaged! The couple announced the big news at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 17, where Good proudly displayed her diamond ring.
Good and Majors initially met at the EBONY Power 100 Gala two years ago. Speaking to E! NEWS, Good it was why they decided to reveal their engagement at the event. "EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom," she said of their first encounter two years ago.
Their engagement is a culmination of their two-year relationship, which began in May 2023. Despite Majors' legal troubles involving an alleged domestic dispute, Good has remained steadfast in her support.
In a recent interview, Good shared her perspective on their relationship: "I take everyone's opinion and advice into account, but at the end of the day, I'm the one who has to live my life. I want to be responsible for the choices I make and live the life I want to live."
She further highlighted the mutual support and respect they share: "The pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care, and the thoughtfulness," Good said. "It's been really wonderful."
Majors' legal issues have not dampened the couple's commitment to one another. Good has attended multiple court appearances in support of her fiance, who has maintained his innocence in the case.
