In the world of reality TV, drama is never too far behind as the drama between Brittany Cartwright and estranged husband Jax Taylor keeps brewing following their latest remarks.

AceShowbiz - Jax Taylor recently made some bold claims about his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright on the podcast. Taylor mentioned that despite their separation, Cartwright was trying to hook up with him.
Talking about their new dynamic post-split, he said, "I've actually been nice to her more [now] than I was when I was married." He also alleged, "I go out of my way for her ... and she says all these negative things about me, but yet she'll call me, like, two days ago, 'Come over, you want to have some drinks? Come over, you want to hook up?' "
Cartwright, however, was not having it. She quickly fired back in the comments section of the podcast's Instagram post. Highlighting that her intentions were purely to maintain a civil relationship for the sake of their son.
She clarified, "Let me make this clear I was trying to see if we can be friends for our son and obviously we CAN'T." She also addressed Jax's claim directly by stating, "We did NOT [hook up]. Let's be clear on that too lol."
Further spicing up the episode, Jax shared more behind-the-scenes details, claiming he was the one who initiated their divorce while he was still in rehab. "What people don't know is the second week into rehab, I emailed Brittany and said, 'I'm getting a mediator.' People don't realize that," he revealed. "I'm the one who initiated this." To this, Brittany responded succinctly, "HahaHAHAAH LIES."
The tension is palpable, and it doesn't seem to be easing up, especially considering Brittany's relationship post-split. Although she has denied any public relationship since their February 2024 separation, she admitted to a fling with Jax's friend, Julian Sensley.
On the podcast, she explained, "I think that me hooking up with his friend, it wasn't... planned. But I also - it was somebody that I felt like I knew, and in our world it's so crazy because like, how do you trust people?"
Jax admitted that this was a tough pill to swallow, especially coming from someone he knew. "I don't think I would have been bothered by it if it was somebody else that I didn't know," he stated, adding on a reflective note, "I definitely got a taste of my own medicine."
