AceShowbiz - Laura Prepon has given her reaction to Ben Foster's divorce filing. The actress portraying Alex Vause on "Orange Is the New Black" corrected the "Hell or High Water" actor and clarified the date of their separation.
On Friday, November 15, In Touch revealed that the 44-year-old actress has responded to her 44-year-old estranged husband's divorce filing. According to the media outlet, she "disputed the date of separation listed in his petition."
In court documents, which were obtained by the outlet, Laura confirmed that she and Ben decided to end their marriage due to "irreconcilable differences." She also admitted that they are "unable to live together successfully as husband and wife."
Furthermore, Laura denied that she and Ben separated in September 2023, which he wrote in his divorce filing. She claimed that the date of their separation is September 9, 2024, suggesting that his team made a "typographical error" in the papers.
A few days prior, Laura and Ben shocked many with reports about their split after being in a marriage for six years. It was said that he initiated the divorce proceedings in Nashville, where the former couple resided with their two children, a 7-year-old daughter named Ella and a 4-year-old son whose name begins with the letter "A."
Ben, who currently resides in Los Angeles, requested the court to divide their marital assets and debts equally based on their 2018 prenuptial agreement. He also sought custody arrangements for their children through a "Marital Dissolution Agreement and an Agreed Parenting Plan."
