AceShowbiz - Eric Johnson (II) has stepped out for the first time since rumors of his divorce from Jessica Simpson. During a recent outing without his singer wife, the former football player ditched his wedding ring.

In a series of pictures that were published by Daily Mail on Wednesday, November 13, it could be seen that he was out and about in Los Angeles, California one day prior. Amid the divorce rumors, he turned to his loved ones as he was joined by his parents.

Eric was photographed strolling around the city with his mother and father. He was walking close to both of them as he kept one of his hands inside the pocket of his pants. He was seen without a band on that finger as he did not try to hide his other hand.

During the walk, Eric had an apparently serious conversation with his parents. At one point, he was caught on camera looking at her mother when she explained something. In the meantime, his father walked behind them and kept his head low.

For the family outing on the relaxing day, Eric opted to wear a comfortable outfit, including a black hoodie. He also sported a pair of long dark-colored denim pants as well as brown-and-black Nike sneakers.

The former NFL star, who flaunted a thin beard, completed the look with a black hat that covered his short light-colored hair. In addition, he covered his eyes with a pair of black sunglasses.

The new sighting came amid speculations suggesting that Eric and Jessica are facing marital issues. While he was recently seen without his wedding ring, the "These Boots Are Made for Walkin' " songstress has been spotted without her own wedding band for months.

Later that month, it was reported that Jessica may file for divorce from Eric soon. A source spilled to In Touch, "It's only a matter of time before she files for divorce." Of their marriage, the source said, "It's pretty much over." Most recently, it was said that she has contacted Los Angeles-based divorce attorneys, claiming she is unhappy in her marriage.
