AceShowbiz - Following a break for 2024 presidential election night, "Dancing with the Stars" season 33 returned with a new episode on Tuesday, November 12. The episode celebrated the 500th episode of the long-running ABC series as the six remaining couples performed solo dances inspired by past "DWTS" performances in addition to Instant Dance Challenge.

The first pair to hit the ballroom were Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, who paid tribute to a Contemporary dance by Riker Lynch and Allison Holker. Judge Bruno Tonioli said it was a powerful and beautiful routine, while Carrie Ann Inaba thought it lacked a bit of rawness. Derek Hough begged to differ, saying that the performance was solid. Joey and Jenna got 28 out of 30.

Following it up were Danny Amendola and Witney Carson. They opted to recreate a Quickstep made famous by Julianne Hough and Helio Castroneves. Carrie Ann dubbed it fantastic, praising Danny for his sharp and clean moves. Bruno thought it was a full-throttle performance, noting that Danny got tense in frame. The judges gave the pair 27 out of 30.

Later, Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach took the dance floor to dance an Argentine Tango which was previously done by James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess. Derek said it was captivating, with Bruno saying it was effective. Carrie Ann, meanwhile, dubbed them the most innovative couple. Dwight got 26 out of 30.

As for Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold, they opted to dance a Viennese Waltz by Charli D'Amelio and Mark Ballas. Bruno thought it was elegant, while Derek praised their emotional tone. The pair earned 29 out of 30 for the routine.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong were up next, recreating an Argentine Tango dance by Derek Hough and Kellie Pickler. Derek said he preferred this dance to his own. Bruno pointed out that Chandler blended beauty and danger perfectly. As for Carrie Ann, she called Chandler the most powerful female dancer she's ever seen on the dance floor. Chandler got 30 out of 30.

Dancing a Quickstep made famous by Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold were Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten. Carrie Ann said it was an amazing routine, while Derek applauded Ilona for bouncing back from last week. Bruno praised Ilona for her refined footwork. The judges gave the pair 28 out of 30.

For the Instant Dance Challenge, Joey and Jenna were up first. They were asked to dance a Rumba and got 27 out of 30. As for Danny and Witney, they danced a Jive and he looked struggling at a couple of moments. The pair received 24 out of 30. Dwight and Daniella got 22 out of 30 after dancing a Paso Double for the challenge.

Stephen and Rylee also got a Jive, which earned them 25 out of 30. Later, Chandler and Brandon danced an impressive Cha Cha and got 30 out of 30. Alan and Ilona followed it up with a Salsa. The judges were all impressed and gave them 24 out of 30.

It was later time to find out the result. Chandler, Joey, Ilona Maher, Stephen Nedoroscik and Danny Amendola were safe. Unfortunately, Dwight Howard was eliminated.
