AceShowbiz - Karlissa Saffold has weighed in on Chrisean Rock's shocking baptism. The mother of Chrisean's baby daddy Blueface surprisingly showed support for Chrisean following her recent big life decision.
In a post on her Instagram Stories, Karlissa said that the water washed off "everything I hated about her." She added, "It might seem flip flopping but l ain't going to deny her if she joined my fathers hood today."
The "Aunt Tea Podcast" co-host went on suggesting that she's seeing Chrisean in a new light after the baptism. She said, "Y'all want me to hate her so bad. She gave her Life to Christ today and i didn't see him strike her with lightning. Everything I hated about her was left in that water because I know what my father in heaven can do! To God be the glory."
Upon catching wind of Karlissa's post, Internet users were not really impressed. "Why she feels like ppl care about her validation," one commented. Another said, "Hated about her? Girl sounds like you need to be dipped to cleanse your spirit."
"Literally no one asked you to hate that woman," one other penned. A user, on the other hand, suggested that Karlissa might need to consider baptism as well, saying, "What about herself is she willing to take to the same water?"
Another comment read, "you know, sometimes it's okay to not say anything." Someone accused Karlissa of being "obsessed with Chrisean." Meanwhile, a fan demanded, "Chrisean! Do yourself a favor and leave everything associated with blue in the past. Except your baby!!!! New beginnings!"
Chrisean revealed her baptism in an emotional video on Instagram last week. The mom of one wrote, "Gracious God, today I rejoice in the promise of new life that baptism symbolizes. Thank You for cleansing my heart and welcoming me into Your family."
She further noted, "As I rise from these waters, may I walk in the light of Your Spirit and grow in the love of Christ each day. Guide my steps, uphold me in faith, and help me to live out Your truth in all I do. Amen."
