AceShowbiz - In the wake of shocking revelations from Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia about alleged emotional abuse by country star Zach Bryan, another of his former girlfriends, Deb Peifer, has stirred intrigue with a cryptic TikTok.
On a recent episode of the "BFFs" podcast, Brianna LaPaglia, 25, claimed that he attempted to silence his exes with non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). According to LaPaglia, Bryan's team offered her a hefty $12 million to stay quiet about their breakup, an offer she adamantly rejected.
The NDA, however, didn't stop Deb Peifer, who dated Bryan from 2022 to 2023, from posting a TikTok video that has fans connecting the dots. In the video, Peifer is seen pouring a glass of wine while smiling and spinning to Taylor Swift's song "Clean."
Fans quickly interpreted the video as a subtle nod to LaPaglia's revelations. The brand of her wine, Josh Wine, was linked to Josh Richards, LaPaglia's podcast co-host. Moreover, the choice of Swift's "Clean," a song about closure, further fueled speculation that Peifer may have dropped a subtle hint at her past relationship with Bryan.
Social media users were quick to chime in. One wrote, "Josh wine. T Swift lyrics (Dave stans for). The song choice. The wine. The smile. But maybe it's all coincidental. Love this for her though." Another fan noted, "posted exactly at 8pm," suggesting the timing was no accident but a deliberate message tied to LaPaglia's podcast episode.
While Peifer has not directly addressed LaPaglia's claims, she did post on her TikTok weeks earlier, responding to comments about LaPaglia and Bryan's breakups. On October 24, she emphasized that she does not find gratification in others' suffering, including that of other women. "I think emotions are so nuanced and so complicated, but I don't feel better because other people are hurting in any capacity," she stated.
Bryan, whose career soared post his 2022 album "American Heartbreak," was previously married to Rose Madden from 2020 to 2021 before dating Peifer. His breakup with LaPaglia in October was announced on Instagram, where Bryan expressed respect and affection for her, but LaPaglia felt blindsided and later detailed feelings of fear and repression, describing a tough year dealing with abuse.
Bryan's team has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding these allegations. As the controversy unfolds, his public image takes a hit while fans and followers await more insights from those affected.
