AceShowbiz - Bobby Flay has nothing but praise for his friend and former podcast guest, Kristin Cavallari, following their viral interview on her "Let's Be Honest" podcast. The Food Network star, 59, dismissed rumors of a romantic connection with Cavallari, 37. "There wasn't really much there," Flay said with a laugh. "Kristin and I have been friends for a long time."

The interview, which aired in October, featured the two newly-single celebrities discussing their dating lives. Flay revealed that he had once sent Cavallari a DM asking her out for dinner, but she turned him down. Despite Cavallari's initial rejection, listeners couldn't help but notice the "undeniable" chemistry between them, leading to speculation of a potential romance.

However, Flay insists that he has no interest in pursuing a relationship with Cavallari. "I'm not really in the market for dating again," he explained. "I don't want to go on the [dating] apps, because then it becomes a public thing."

Flay also expressed his admiration for Cavallari's work ethic and success as a businesswoman. "I love her energy, and I also really respect her as a businesswoman," he said. "She's got her whole life together, and she does it incredibly well."

Despite his disinterest in a romantic relationship, Flay said he enjoyed the experience of doing a podcast with Cavallari. "I thought it'd be a fun podcast and something a little bit different than some of the other ones that I was doing," he said.

While Flay may not be looking for love right now, he remains open to finding a life partner. "I would be interested in a life partner for sure," he said.
