AceShowbiz - Rick Ross recently visited Elvis Presley's Graceland estate in Memphis, where he discovered striking similarities between himself and the late rock and roll legend. In videos posted to his Instagram Story, Ross narrated his tour, expressing admiration for Presley's legacy as an icon. "I just went on a tour throughout the crib. Very enlightening. Elvis was a legend, an icon," he remarked.

Ross pointed out several parallels: both he and Presley were born in Mississippi and have given their sprawling homes their own distinctive names with similar suffixes. Ross's Miami mansion is called Promise Land, while Graceland spans over 17,000 square feet on 14 acres.

"As we all could see, me and Elvis had a lot of things in common," said Ross, referencing the two planes parked at Graceland named after Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley and his song "Hound Dog." "His ranch is Graceland, mine is Promise Land. I love the planes; I love he was a hustler. He was a man amongst the people."

Ross has previously hinted at his admiration for Presley with his 2013 track "Elvis Presley Blvd," which takes its name from the street where Graceland is located.

The rapper's visit to Graceland comes amidst news that Lisa Marie Presley would often call upon her father's spirit in his bedroom at the estate, according to her posthumous memoir, "From Here to the Great Unknown." Riley Keough, Elvis' granddaughter, claimed that Lisa Marie and her children found solace and would lie in his bed "to feel some comfort."
