AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for a festive holiday season with her family, amidst her ongoing divorce from Ben Affleck. In an interview with People, Lopez shared her plans to revel in the holiday spirit by spending quality time with her loved ones.

"It was a pretty intense year for me and I'm most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast," Lopez, 55, expressed.

The holidays have always been significant for the actress, who cherishes those moments with her mom Guadalupe Rodriguez, sisters Lynda and Leslie, and her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme. "The holidays are such a special time for us, and they've always been since I was a little girl," she continued.

Even though Lopez spent the last two holiday seasons with Affleck, she's viewing this year's celebrations as an opportunity to "slow down" and truly enjoy time with her family. "We don't get to see each other all year," she noted, "so we kind of catch up on what everybody's doing and how life is. It's just a beautiful time. I really enjoy it."

Lopez plans to create a storybook-like experience for her kids, complete with decorations, hot chocolate, music, and food. "I'm a sucker for the holidays," she admitted.

Following an eventful year, Lopez has also focused on a rigorous self-care routine to manage stress. Her wellness regimen includes consistent skincare, regular workouts to stay energized, and moments of relaxation and meditation. "Once the kids have gone to bed, I'm like, 'okay, my time,' " she stated, highlighting the importance of personal downtime.

Ahead of the new year, Lopez is looking forward to deeper connections and creativity. "2025, for me, is about a deeper connection to myself and to God, making sure we're checking with ourselves so we can be great for everybody that we love around us," she explained.

Lopez is determined to keep challenging herself, whether through acting, music, producing, or expanding her JLo Beauty brand. "I want to continue challenging myself to evolve and to try new things while all the while being true to who I am and those that I love."

Despite her personal struggles, including the resurfacing of past relationship controversies with Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Lopez remains committed to her family and professional endeavors. Her latest film, "Unstoppable," where she plays the mother of a disabled athlete, is already receiving rave reviews ahead of its December 6 release.
