Known for his roles in 'Ant-Man' and 'I Love You, Man', the actor makes a surprise appearance at universities in Pennsylvania on Election Day where he hands out water bottles to students.

AceShowbiz - Paul Rudd, known for his roles in "Ant-Man" and "I Love You, Man", surprised voters waiting in long lines at universities in Pennsylvania on Election Day. He was spotted by MSNBC National Correspondent Jacob Soboroff, who captured heartwarming moments of Rudd handing out water bottles to students and encouraging them to vote.

"I just wanted to give people water," Rudd said. "They're waiting in line for a long time, and it's a wonderful thing that all these young people are out voting." When told some had been waiting up to two hours, Rudd replied, "That's impressive."

According to Soboroff, Rudd visited both Temple University and Villanova University, praising students for their dedication to the democratic process. "We wanted to come out and tell these students they're doing really great things," he said.

Rudd's appearance added a touch of celebrity cheer to the tense atmosphere of the election. Soboroff quipped on Twitter, "I did not have saying the words 'Paul Rudd just showed up' on my @msnbc bingo card tonight."

This marked Rudd's second act of kindness during the 2020 election. In 2020, Rudd passed out cookies to voters in the rain at the Barclays Center in New York. Celebrities, including Jennifer Garner, Josh Gad, Mark Cuban and Demi Lovato, also joined in, video chatting with voters on lines across the country.

Rudd's actions are part of a broader trend of celebrities using their influence to encourage voter turnout. Last week, several of his "The Avengers" co-stars voiced support for Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign. On Election Day eve,Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and other musicians performed at rallies to motivate voters.
