On Sunday, November 3, the 28-year-old supermodel made use of her Instagram page to share her reaction to the report. In the comments section of a post, she simply wrote, "Oh my god," adding a smiling face with tears of joy emoji.
Brooks was commenting on the post, which featured a photo of her. The picture was taken when she made an appearance at a Halloween party in West Hollywood, California on October 27. Over the snap, a headline read, "BROOKS NADER SHOOTS HER SHOT WITH TOBEY MAGUIRE."
Recently, it was said that Brooks tried to have a chat with Tobey. According to Deuxmoi, the former "Dancing with the Stars" star made a move on the actor "at a Halloween party in Los Angeles the weekend before Halloween."
Brooks reportedly "was attempting to cozy up to [Tobey] at Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles." In the meantime, Tobey, who showed up at the bash with a companion, allegedly "wasn't looking to commit to his company that night." He reportedly was "chatting with quite a few different women."
The revelation came after it was reported that Brooks was dumped by her former "Dancing with the Stars" partner Gleb Savchenko through text message. The seemingly fairytale romance came to an abrupt halt when he decided to end things via text message, just one week following their elimination.
According to an insider who spoke with DailyMail, "Gleb had gotten very comfortable with Brooks and was spending so much time at her house. It had started to concern the people closest to her, including her friends and family." Noticing Brooks pulling back, Gleb chose to "get ahead of the situation" and initiate the breakup.
Despite the breakup, both parties seemed to be handling life well post-relationship. Brooks cheekily took to TikTok, posting a video where she humorously claimed she "never knew we were dating." This video featured a voiceover from the movie "Whiplash", reflecting her unbothered state.
