Earth's Mightiest Heroes have reunited for a political PSA to support Kamala Harris at the U.S. Presidential election, urging Marvel fandom to vote for democracy.

AceShowbiz - While it's unlikely to see them on the big screen together again soon, but The Avengers have regrouped - this time with a mission that transcends cinema. On Thursday afternoon, October 31, some of the most beloved MCU actors - Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Danai Gurira, Don Cheadle, and Paul Bettany - joined forces to endorse Kamala Harris for President.

The heartfelt video, initiated by Ruffalo, aimed to rally young voters to the polls. "Don't sit this one out. It's the one where we will lose big: Project 2025, women's reproductive rights, climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, public education, student debt relief, Affordable Care Act, Social Security, and as of today, life-saving vaccines. This s*** is real and it's going to come for you," Ruffalo tweeted.

This star-studded call saw the actors trying out various catchphrases for Harris. Danai Gurira, known for her role in "Black Panther," humorously suggested, "Kamala Forever." They eventually decided on "I'm Kamala Harris, and I'm down with democracy." Despite the unlikelihood of Harris using this catchphrase, the unity of some of Earth's mightiest heroes underscores the gravity they feel towards this electoral moment.

Scarlett Johansson reflected on the dynamic of their call, telling Vanity Fair, "It just immediately turned into people trying to one-up each other with one-liners. Robert and Mark, bickering like two old ladies. And, of course, I'm the person that's just trying to organize everybody. It's very similar to what our dynamic is in the films."

Johansson further emphasized the importance of youth participation, "I just hope people exercise their right to vote and participate, especially young people, because obviously it's their future."

The call wasn't just a stunt to boost Harris' profile; it echoes her widespread celebrity endorsement. From Beyonce Knowles appearing at a rally in Houston to Leonardo DiCaprio's social media shout-outs, Harris has garnered a diverse fanbase. Beyoncé passionately urged, "It's time to sing a new song ... Are y'all ready to add your voice to the new American song? Because I am."

As Election Day draws near, Johansson and her fellow Avengers hope their message resonates, encouraging America's youth to vote for a future they believe in. "You're not really voting for four years, you're voting for eight. Kindness and compassion should lead our country," Johansson added.
