AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum appears to be immersing himself in work following his recent split from Zoe Kravitz. Just days after the breakup news emerged, Tatum shared a new photo on Instagram. The post, dated October 30, features Tatum in front of a Toys 'R' Us logo, seemingly on the set of his upcoming movie, "Roofman".
Tatum captioned the photo, "Just broke out of prison and into a Toys R Us… how was your day," referring to his role in the film. This marks the first time Tatum has commented publicly since the breakup. "Hehe #ROOFMAN dirty and tired but still a Toys R Us kid," he added, showing a positive approach despite recent personal upheavals.
According to multiple sources, Tatum and Kravitz ended their engagement because they "haven't been on the same page and grew apart." The couple's last public appearance was in New York City's Red Hook, and indications of the breakup surfaced as Kravitz had been seen without her engagement ring recently.
"Roofman" is set to release in theaters on October 3, 2025. The film stars Tatum as a military veteran and struggling father who resorts to robbing McDonald's restaurants using a unique method of cutting holes in their roofs. His character's nickname, Roofman, defines much of the film's narrative. Also starring Kirsten Dunst and Peter Dinklage, the movie delves into his post-escape life, wherein he hides in a toy store and falls in love with a single mother, played by Dunst.
Zoë Kravitz, who was the director of his film "Blink Twice", has yet to post on social media since the breakup news went public. At the "Blink Twice" premiere in August, Kravitz had spoken about her strong creative partnership with Tatum, stating, "Art is our love language." Fans of the duo are left to wonder if they will collaborate in the future, given their recent divergence.
