AceShowbiz - Not everyone was happy with Beyonce Knowles' appearance at Kamala Harris' rally in Houston, Texas last week. FOX News Analyst Xaviaer Durousseau blasted the Grammy winner for supporting the Democratic presidential nominee in a recent episode of the show.
Xaviaer first called out Kamala for her "desperate" move. "She's bringing every celebrity she can to try to get any kind of endorsement because she knows she doesn't have any substance herself," he opined.
"She brought Beyonce tonight and it's like, Beyonce doesn't need to be doing that," he continued. "Beyonce needs to be focused on trying to keep her album on the chart because it's already gone."
Fans quickly slammed Xaviaer for the insults with one saying, "I always side eye men that throw shade towards women cuz her album has NOTHING to do with the topic at hand Sisqo." Someone added, "A black GAY dark skinned man, with dyed blonde that supports trump is not only an oxymoron, and self contradiction but insanely diabolical!"
"I'm sure he just ended his career with that one," one commented. Meanwhile, a user predicted, "He'll be apologizing by next week. ROC Nation don't play about Bey slander on TV."
The shade came after Beyonce made an appearance at Kamala's rally in her hometown on October 25 following months of speculation. The "Cowboy Carter" artist, introduced by her mother Tina Knowles and accompanied on stage by her former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland, spoke to the crowd about the importance of unity and reproductive rights.
"We're at the precipice of an enormous shift. I'm not here as a celebrity. I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother, a mother who cares about the world our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we are not divided," Beyonce said.
Urging the crowd to vote and support Harris in her bid for the presidency, the wife of Jay-Z added, "Let's do this. Ladies and gentlemen, give a big, loud Texas welcome to the next president of the United States, Kamala Harris."
