However, Burke believes that the financial inequality between them may have taken a toll on Lawrence. "I believe that there is this gender role where a man may feel a little emasculated when he doesn't make the majority of the money," she said.

Burke emphasized that she was not badmouthing Lawrence, but rather highlighting the challenges they faced in navigating their differing financial situations. She admitted that her request for a prenuptial agreement raised concerns for Lawrence, but she stood firm in her decision.

Looking back, Burke acknowledged that she ignored some red flags leading up to their wedding. She also shared that she has since focused on personal healing and self-worth.
