The critically-acclaimed Netflix series returns for a second season with a new cast and a gripping storyline set in the world of an elitist country club and its billionaire owner.

AceShowbiz - Netflix has announced the cast for the upcoming second season of its acclaimed series "Beef". Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny will star in the new season.
The season will chronicle a young couple witnessing "an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner," according to the synopsis.
Lee Sung Jin returns as creator, showrunner and executive producer, while Jake Schreier joins season 1 stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as executive producers.
Season 1 of "Beef" starred Yeun and Wong as two people involved in a road rage incident that escalates and disrupts their lives. The series debuted in 2023 to critical acclaim, winning eight Emmy Awards, including Best Limited or Anthology Series.
Isaac, a two-time Golden Globe nominee, is known for his roles in the "Star Wars" trilogy, "Dune" and "Ex Machina". Mulligan, a three-time Oscar nominee, has starred in "Maestro", "Promising Young Woman" and "An Education".
Melton has earned critical acclaim for his performance in "May December". Spaeny has gained recognition for her roles in "Alien: Romulus" and "Priscilla".
Season 2 of "Beef" will consist of eight 30-minute episodes. A release date has not yet been announced.
