AceShowbiz - Michelle Wie West and her husband, Jonnie West, announced the arrival of their son, Jagger Jerry YooJun West, on October 19 via Instagram. The post included adorable photos of Jagger with his 4-year-old sister, Makenna Kamalei Yoona West.
Jagger's middle name, Jerry, is a heartfelt tribute to his late grandfather, NBA legend Jerry West.
Wie West, who retired from professional golf in July 2023, had previously announced her pregnancy in May on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". She underwent IVF this time and reflected on her journey on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to her team and support for those facing infertility challenges.
She then recalled Makenna spilling the tea to her close circle of people, including her friends and teachers. She said, "Her teacher called us over, and said, 'Can I talk to you for a second? She was like, are you?' We did IVF this time and (Makenna) kept saying, 'Oh, my parents are going to L.A. to get the baby.' "
Wie West and her husband have been married since August 2019. The couple had their first child, Makenna, in June 2020. Wie West returned to playing golf just 10 days after giving birth.
During her golf career, Wie West won five LPGA tournaments, including the 2014 U.S. Women's Open. She has since retired from golf and has devoted her time to her family.
