AceShowbiz - Alex Van Halen has shared the last piece of work he created with his late brother Eddie Van Halen. On Monday, October 21, he released the downloadable version of "Unfinished", an instrumental track that appears in the audiobook version of his memoir "Brothers". The six-minute recording, available on Van Halen's website, showcases Eddie's guitar work, including a classic solo halfway through.

According to the website, "Unfinished" is the final song Edward and Alex wrote together. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Alex revealed that there are "tons of unreleased music in the Van Halen vaults," but few finished songs. Describing the song as a collection of "little pieces," he suggested that he may use artificial intelligence to analyze how Eddie would have played guitar solos and have someone sing over them, expressing his preference for Robert Plant.

Alex's tribute book to Eddie has become a bestseller, soaring to the top of both the book and audiobook charts ahead of its publication on October 22. In the book, Alex offers a personal account of his relationship with his brother, including their shared experiences in music and life.

"Brothers" is described as a love letter to Eddie, who passed away in October 2020 after a battle with lung cancer. Alex Van Halen launches a three-city book tour in support of the release on Monday in New York City, followed by Northvale, New Jersey and Culver City, California.
