AceShowbiz - JoJo Siwa, the popular singer and dancer, became the latest victim of the revamped prank show "Punk You". Previously known as "Punk'd", the show returned with the help of co-creator Jason Goldberg and producers Sophie Watts and Joe White.
In a 11-minute clip shared over the weekend, JoJo is seen sitting in the back of an SUV when her driver is pulled over by what appears to be the FBI. "Getting pulled over by the secret agents? This is a new one," she remarks before things escalate quickly.
An agent, played by an actor, accuses someone named JoJo Siwa of committing wire fraud, bank fraud and credit card fraud. JoJo calls her mother Jessalynn Siwa, who is also in on the prank, to inform her of the situation. "I got pulled over by the FBI. They brought us up to the rooftop of a parking structure, and apparently somebody is stealing my identity," she tells her mother.
Things take a turn when the agents accuse JoJo of being the perpetrator of the identity theft. Jessalynn assures JoJo that she's on the way to help her, revealing behind the scenes that JoJo is successfully falling for the prank. "Her code word is 'Beyonce,' " explains Jessalynn.
Despite being a successful young star, JoJo's finances appear to be in order, as she recently shared her lavish vacation plans with girlfriend Dakayla Wilson. While "Punk You" has also fooled celebrities like Sexxy Red, NLE Choppa, Jynxzi and DDG, viewers were surprised at how easily JoJo believed the prank.
